Ascension is a small action-platformer that I created during my last game Jam. You play a little blue guy in its climb of a mountain.

I enjoy this! Cool art (I especially like how the platforms were designed with no bottom line!)
Short and simple, and with a timer so I might try to speedrun it just for fun and see how fast I can get up there.

+1 for the use of Godot :D!

pretty cool, only thing to point out is that you get stuck on the bottom of air platforms

I recommend making it so you get your hitpoints back when you reach a checkpoint. Having to start the entire game over when you die isn't fun, and neither is having to die to get your heath back when you reach a new checkpoint. Also, at one point I got hurt by running into the path of a falling dead enemy. That should not hurt you.

why not? you touched the enemy.

You can also recharge your life points by pressing R. It is true that enemies should no longer cause you damage after they have been killed, this is now fixed.

Awesome game!

Nice game

Nice Game overview like with the hp, restarting function and all

Thanks :)

Got some feedback for you :)

I like the menu at the start, very simple but gets the point across. My only suggestion for improvement would be that you are taking back to the menu and not the start screen. So you don't have to keep pressing space bar. Love the sound effects and music, goes well with this game. Controls are nice, it's a nice little game.

Keep up the good work :)

Thanks for the feedback, I am taking your suggestion into account for the next update.
